Description
Supports Power Core game mode.

Two factions attemping to escape the endless war of the 41st millenium travel to a remote island only to find that there is no solice from the eternal conflict.

I'll check out the 2v2 one, didn't know there was one, but yea the differential in height i meant hills/cliffs. and the center roads being wider, I am not sure if it would be better or worse, maybe worse, but I always tweak and untweak things after having people try em, I havent played much of DOW3 because of how dead it is but Warhammer ANYTHING is always gonna be on my steam list since dow1, I mean the only maps I use to make were Stronghold maps, warcraft 3 maps, and Unrealtournament 2004 maps, aside from those games I don't see myself being "the one" to listen to with map creation, never even bothered figuring out how to make maps on DOW3 lol. But yea starcraft is pretty decent to base most maps off of as far as strategy, one of the bigger tourny matching games still out there, I'm just more of a fan of "slow paced matched strategy" thats why I preferred WC3 over SC2 -

Either way, map is good, I always comment on people's map just to it may motivate them to make another. thx

Thanks ZGLando! When you say height differential do you mean like adding hills or cliffs in the center portion? As far as thicker roads I'm not sure I agree as the paths in this map are generally much wider than other maps, but that isn't something I would be totally against. The aim with this map was to make it feel larger than the standard. The rear points are meant to be secure and more easily defensible. I wanted it to be a macro oriented map. My background is in Starcraft mostly so I took a lot of inspiration from there in my design.

It's been a while since I've been motivated to work on DoW3 stuff. This map ended being played in a tournament back in 2017 and I haven't touched it since. The games were crazy. There are some exploits that came out in the games that I didn't fix. You might be able to find the VODs somewhere. Turns out it's Eldar favored. Not surprising really as that's my main race. Oops.

Oh yeah and there is a 2v2 version on the workshop.

Good map, I can see it being used in a 1v1, maybe even a 2v2. Only thing I may suggest is working on the water area with maybe height differentials mid-sea(on each end of the crossings part) and slightly thicker roads( more open areas)so less bottle-necking. I played vs AI so i can explore. Also maybe another suggestion similar to my first about height, removing 2 base req points and slapping them in the center to fight over in those "areas" so game is less progressed and takes a bit more coordinating. I do like the forward one (on each player's island), maybe remove the back one? (less activity, tends to get ignored I would imagine?)

Aside from my suggestions I think this is a great map, good job.

Also added story line to the map so props for that too +2
