1-to-72-hours long days

Description
Every newly generated planet will have it's day-night cycle between 1 and 72 hours.
Note that actuall days and actuall nights will only be half the length, since they both are halves of a day-night cycle, not counting the transitions between the two, which also should last pretty long, but I didn't check that yet.

Yes, both day and night are in just one value, later the game simply takes it and makes one half a day, and another half a night. I do not have the programing knownledge to do more than just changing that value in this case. Also, feel free to unpack and edit the mod or do whatever else you want with it however you want without asking

man so the code made the time as a cycle not 2 seperate times...right? if it is, that explain why u cant do that. maybe somehow u can alter the code so it has 2 seperate time for day and night?

If you mean...
Making just the day longer and not the night - I don't know how to do that, so no.
Even more time added to the cycle - Yes I can do that.

also I'm pretty sure the sunrise and the sunset with this mod lasts up to like an hour or something

yeah, I have a lot of day length and planet size mods

OH I just checked your previous mods and noticed you had already done that... right... well I guess this was the giggles in that case, for some crazy people wanting such a massive cycle.

72 real time hours per in-game day? Jeez... you really want to face the equivalent to 36 bloody hours of continual night and fighting off the monsters? That sound a bit insane. Sure that mean you'll have a massive time to explore and build up your base since you start at day, at least on your original planet, than comes the long night that will see you sieged nearly non-stop for more time than many even play a single game, plus it might make landing on a new planet at night be rough as Hell. I am sort of curious, why not make it based on a real life day, roughly 24 hours for the total cycle, rather than going to 3 times that much?

Actually, the length of day and night is connected to the speed at which the planet rotates on it's axis. That means any planet can have a longer or shorter day and night span, regardless of it's distance to its sun.
