Xylth Debugging Tools [WotC]

Description
This mod adds some extra debugging conveniences for mod developers, particularly class mod developers. It is not intended for regular players.

Current features:
Enables "Sim Combat" feature in loadout screen.
Allows selection of GTS and AWC-only abilities in Tactical Quick Launch.
Fixes the "X2DebugBehavior" and other AI debug commands by reenabling AI logging.
New debug command: AddAbility. Adds an ability to a unit, temporarily in tactical or permanently in strategy.
New debug command: GrantKills. Grants extra kills to a unit in strategy.
New debug command: DumpAbilityTemplate. Dumps information about an ability template to the log.

Usage:
I suggest you copy this from your steam mods folder to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods", so that you can use it after launching via F5. If you prefer launching through Steam, use the console command "UISpawnScreen UIShell" to access the debug shell.

Compatibility:
This mod overrides UISquadSelect, UITacticalQuickLaunch_UnitAbilities, and UITacticalQuickLaunch_UnitSlot. Since you should be a mod developer if you're using this mod, I hope you know how to handle conflicts.

Hey pal, I know it's been years since you made this. I was just looking for some help.

I'm trying to use the Sim Combat feature to skip a mission - it seems it's bugged and results in an infinite loading screen. I'm deep into my Legendary/No Deaths Ironman save and I was told this mod might help.

I'm in the loadout / pre-mission screen and I don't see the option with the mod enabled and the debug shell open. I don't even know how to close the debug shell without quitting the whole game.
It's first time I've used it.

Any help would be appreciated :luv:

Sim combat skips over the battle, but based on the relative sizes of the xcom and alien forces it might randomly wound or kill some soldiers and/or fail the mission.

You can instantly win a tactical mission with the builtin "KillAllAIs" command.

I'd like an option where you instantly win the tactical combat, missions ends flawlessly and all aliens die.

Not a modder, but how does the sim combat work? Does it just skip over the battle to confirm the mod works or does it allow the modder to view a battle automatically?
