Monorail Carriage

It's a monorail.

Mostly built this for the fun of it, thought I would share it as an example of what can be created with a HVs as the carriage and a base as the rail.

Once you spawn the track example, simply spawn the carriage above the rail, centered. Get it perfect and it will land on the rail in the correct position, if you are off a bit, just hop in the HV and use "O" to level the HV and then manuever it onto the track.

A ride height of roughly 0.35M is best, and you can align the monorail HV with the track by moving it left & right, and then centering it above the rail.

Although a single base is limited to 250 blocks wide, you can use multiple bases inline with one another to create a longer track. This is best accomplished by creating a track of the maximum length and then create a blueprint of it, spawn a copy, and then use console commands to align the bases (general commands used: "di" to display player coordinates and get entity id number, "ents" to list all entities and get the coordinates (position and rotation) of the bases, "setrotation" to set the bases rotation, and "setposition" to set the bases position). This works in creative, I have not tested in survival yet. Main thing to remember is that the rail must be level and straight. No inclines or curves.
