Teleporter Lab

This is my very first Source and ZPS map that I created back in around 2009-2010 when I was a kid. It has been published on one french server first that no longer exists and I decided to make it available to everyone on GameBanana in 2011.

When I published the map on GameBanana, I decided to drop the support on this map. But with ZPS 3.0 being a reality and since "backward compatibility" with "legacy" maps is gonna take a hit, I decided to fix it for the future ZPS version.

This "ZPS 3.0 version" is not just a "hotfix", I learned from my mistakes and I went for a full "re-balance" pass on the map. I'm not gonna work on this map again until there is a serious bug/crash or balances issues.


Our fellow survivors have reached an old teleporter test lab, they hope they can finally escape the zombie apocalypse by using the teleporter that was part of a TV show a long time ago before the apocalypse began. They can't go back. It's just a matter of life and death.


1) Find the key in the security office.
2) Power up the generator.
3) Find a C4 explosive charge in the storage area.
4) Blow up the crates that block your way.
5) Grab some weapons and ammo, break the planks behind the ammo crates on the moving conveyor and transfer the crates to the teleporter room.
6) Get to the teleporter room (move near to the fire and wait a little time to make them extinguish).
7) Start the teleporter charging process.
8) Escape when the teleporter is ready


Eat the survivors brains before they escape.


When ZPS 3.0 goes live, just click on the "Subscribe" button and let Steam do the rest.


You can download the "legacy" unsupported version which is compatible with ZPS 2.4 at GameBanana[gamebanana.com].

Players just need to extract the archive's content in their "zps" folder located in "SteamApps\common\Source SDK Base 2007\zps".

Server operators will need to extract the archive's content in the "zps" folder of their server(s) and update their "mapcycle.txt" and "maplist.txt" files. If you have plugins related to "maps changes", please update their configurations as well. If you have a FastDL server, please upload the map there as well.
