It wouldnt be a bad idea to move the mirror a little away from the statue.
Is there some reason one needs to interact with the statue after u have the waypoint?
Once u have the waypoint u can use the minimap icon.

When do you think the black portrait will be fixed?

still need to fix:
1) black portrait (perhaps trigger a re-render somehow?)
2) braccus rex statue becoming inoperable after use of mirror

After I respecced, I had to uninstall the mod for the statue to be reusable again. Very odd.

Yes, you can respec other party members. I just did.

However, after using the mirror a few times, I am now unable to interact with the Braccus Rex statue to use as a waypoint. It does nothing at all, even if i right click and select 'Use'.

Damn, that sucks. Havent used any sorta mods since this has been implemented. So the profile when you use a mod gets flagged, do all saves get flagged as well? Even if you loaded a mod to see how it worked but didnt save?

No, profiles are tagged as having used mods so once you activate them you're permanently unable to get achievements until you switch profiles and start a new save
