Anyways this is the Hazard Environmental Suit -- or HEV for short. Unlike XCOM's weak kevlar armors, this suit is a bit more sturdier and can handle quite a punch against the alien threat. It also can (hopefully) protect you from dangerous hazards like acid, poison, radioactivity, etc.

Mind you though, you're not invincible, even with that on. So keep your heads and wits about you. "

Commanders of XCOM, I give you the famous HEV suit from the well known series Half-Life!

This mod adds in the famous HEV suit for BOTH MALES AND FEMALES. Here are the features...

• 2 helmets of the HEV suit for the M & F. Both will be colored.
  
• 2 torsos for the M & F: 1 torso will have the XCOM logo and 1 will have the Half-Life symbol for lore purposes. Both will be colored.
  
• BONUS: A headcrab for the heads on M & F for the ultimate Half-Life experience. Default headcrab only.
  
• ALL headgear mentioned can be used on Upper, Lower, and Helmet options for further customization.

NOTE: The armor textures & rigging aren't perfect (as always) as I am still a damn Rookie when dealing with something with armor. Also, I'll do texture optimizations later. I did my best! Updates will come don't worry. Just please be patient.

Fine, give me some of your RNG luck and a piece of your soul. Happy? Seriously, I need that for my XCOM runs (the RNG luck, not your pieces of souls. The latter is for... something else).

Q4)What was the purpose of this mod?
Back when XCOM 2 initially started, Dr. Freeman was one of the many characters I wanted in the game. When Freeman's Mind came into the Workshop, I fell in love with it. Then the Combine assets came for the game and felt ecstatic that Half Life was entering XCOM 2. Problem was... there's no HEV suit (Freeman's iconic armor). And I've been waiting patiently for some brave soul to make it -- only no one did.

With some experience with Viper Gear under my belt, I undertook this important task. Many weeks later, here ya have it. The HEV suit is ready to go (plus a few little additions to make it worthwile).
