Shieldman Unit Mod

Description
This mod adds two additional unit types: Shieldman & Warrior.

Any infantry units that hold a shield is now a Shieldman.
Shieldman Type: Shield, Projectile Resistance, & Defender.
Any infantry units that dual wield or two-hand is now a Warrior.
Warrior Type: Overwhelm, Charge & Inflict Bleeding Wounds.

Adds two new units to every race.
+minor model fixes.

*This mod impacts gameplay and will punish you early on if you do not plan accordingly.

Reasoning:
After noticing that Pikeman had their own unique type and ability set which includes: Polearm, Pike-Square, AND First Strike I realized they were able to fill their anti-cavalry role effectively.
I strongly feel that units with a shield should be more than just like any other melee unit except with a shield(+2 def from non-flanking attacks). They should have their own role to fill.

Goal:
Shieldman should be able to protect vital units and points on the battlefield. They can hold off attackers and work more effectively in guard mode.

Major Changes:
Shieldman unit type added and received these bonuses: Shield, Projectile Resistance, & Defender. (All Races infantry shield units are now this type).
Shieldman unit level upgrades are: Defense, Melee Strength, Defense, Melee Strength.
Each Race now has 2 more units to choose from, Races without a shielded foot unit now have one and those who did received different units.

ELF NEW UNIT: Blademaster (wields a two-handed sword and have Overwhelm).
ELF NEW UNIT: Mounted Bowman.

DWARF NEW UNIT: Hammerer (wields two hammers)
DWARF NEW UNIT: Thunderer (wields and hammer and riders a boar)

HUMAN NEW UNIT: Swordsman (is a shieldman type)
HUMAN NEW UNIT: Mounted Bowman

GOBLIN NEW UNIT: Raider (can throw a fire bomb but has no other redeeming features)
GOBLIN NEW UNIT: Gouger (a mounted unit that has polearm)

DRACONIAN NEW UNIT: Swordsman (is a shieldman type)
DRACONIAN NEW UNIT: Mounted Pikeman (a mounted unit that has polearm)

ORC NEW UNIT: Swordsman (is a shieldman type)
ORC NEW UNIT: Mounted Bowman

TIGRAN NEW UNIT: Swordsman (is a shieldman type)
TIGRAN NEW UNIT: Axeman (wields a two-handed axe and has Overwhelm)

FROSTLING NEW UNIT: Archer (since they did not have one)
FROSTLING NEW UNIT: Ice Mage (a variant to the White Witch that does only ice damage and has different abilities)

HALFLING NEW UNIT: Archer(their size demands using effect ranged attacks)
HALFLING NEW UNIT: Barreler(a mounted support unit)

Minor fixes:
Orc Infantry weapon placement fixed.
Orc Archer bow & arrow placement adjusted to better fit hands.
Orc Caster weapon size, rotation and placement adjusted to a better fit.
Draconian Pikeman weapon placement & size fixed.
Draconian Flyer weapon placement fixed.
Draconian Priest weapon size & placement fixed.
Draconian Cavalry both weapon placements fixed.
Draconian Crusher weapon size slightly reduced to fit hands better.
Goblin Irregular weapon placement fixed.
Goblin Infantry weapon placement fixed.
Goblin Cavalry weapon placement fixed.
Goblin Priest weapon placement fixed.
Goblin Beetle Rider weapon placement fixed.
High Elf Swordsmen weapon and shield size shrunk slightly and weapon placement fixed.
High Elf Gryphon weapon placement fixed.
Human Light Cavalry weapon size reduced by .05 and placement fixed.
Human Pikeman weapon size reduced by .1 to better fit hand.
Human Swordsmen weapon size reduced by .1 to better fit hand & slight rotation fix.
Human Irregular weapon size reduced by .2 to better fit hand & placement fixed.
Human Irregular crossbow size reduced to better fit hand & placement fixed.
Human Archer bow & arrow placement adjusted to better fit hands.

NOTE* These units all have shield ability. (Below)
Every Warlord Manticore Rider expect Dwarf(he had one) now properly have their shield.
ALL Warlord Manticore Riders shield placement and rotation fixed.
Every Warlord Manticore Rider except Elf's(didn't need it) weapon placement fixed.

NOTE: Unit Descriptions(flavor text) COMING SOON! (if anyone one wants to write some send them my way!)

v1.1 Theocrat foot shieldman type is now shieldman.
v1.2 Halfling Archer & Draconian Mounted Pikeman name fixed.
v1.3 Many fixes to unit balance & a few bugs.
v1.4 Added a custom icon for Shieldman type.
v1.5 Elf Swordmaster having shield bug has been fixed.
v1.6 More unit balancing.
v1.7 Added Warrior Type.

Just as a side note, this is my first mod for this game. A lot of research and time went into me learning how their modding program worked and it was quite difficult, but I will try and get better as I go.

I have both DLC but it keeps asking for thie DLC1 that I have no idea what it is so that is why I am thinking it could be the Deluxe Edition DLC

This requires both dlc's. There is a base game version of this as well. If something is not working as intended I cannot fix this. I lost the files and can longer update it.

it says it is missing DLC1 or something everytime I try to use this mod :l I guess I will just go back to the base game anyways oh well

Also is there any chance you'd make a mod that just does what you say in the first 4 lines ? (i.e doesn't add in lots of new unit types so it'd be compatible with more other mods? Or would it still result in conflicts?)

Hi, thx for beautiful mod, but maybe crossbow for goblin, frosting, alabaster for ork, dwarf? Dwarf maybe pavise alabaster?
Ork swordman with AXE??? Maybe big two hands axe and pavise on his back and "Varangian guard ork"?
