Great Beak Things

Description
Ever fought a Beak Thing and thought, "Gee. I wish these guys were bigger, stronger, and just plain deadlier in general."

Well if you didn't before, too bad! Because here is the Great BeakThings mod!

What this mod actually does;
It creates a new race called Great BeakThings. Great Beak Things are 1.5x the size of a regular BeakThing when fully grown and are about double in combat stats. Their limbs health is also about doubled as well.

Greak Beak Things also take 30 days to become an adult unlike the 20 days for a Beak Thing. To compensate for their higher stats, Great Beak Things are also slightly slower than Beak Things.

It also creates a new nest for Great Beak Things.

These nests can spawn anywhere where Beak Things normally spawn at half the chance. Same for roaming squads. Every biome that has roaming squads of Beak Things has half the chance of roaming squads of Great Beak Things.


Edit: I am stopping all support on this and my other mods because I lost all my files due to a problem with my pc. I MIGHT start this up again in the future but for now I will not be updating this mod.

This is completely unbalanced. I don't mind the challenge for my squad but when a couple of these wander into catun, the town is ripped to shreds. The aoe is way too large and the damage is way too much. Doesn't make for a fun game imo

This mod should be combined with Beam Things and Talking Beak Things. The Unholy trinity.

the adult and elder is not 2x the stats, and the elder stats are 2x more to great beak things.. kinda too op i think, plus this is the only creature that is top of the food chain, how funny that people think leviathan was the most dangerous creature but there are downside to make it balance. they are not aggressive. just passive, while this creature is the most dangerous in kenshi... i bet it can destroy a whole city while the leviathan can't...

can u increase the rewards for this thing or tweak its stats? cuz two beak things or 1v1 vs leviathan. GODAMN!! leviathan cannot beat the beak things. the leviathan lose... even 1v1, the heck, too op.. plus low rewards, not worth the time. or i dunno, feels like it stray too far from kenshi. leviathan is not the deadliest creature. even if it has gigantic size. but a little size than them, one beak thing can beat them lol. i just watched 2 beak thing massacre a leviathan. then i tried to lure one to another leviathan and and yet we cannot beat the beak things. my stats is 50s and solo MA. me and lev cannot beat a 1 godamn great beak. Hell naw,,
