Reliance class Light Cruiser

The Reliance class light cruiser was built as a cost effective measure, in case fo a full scale war were to break out. Using approximately 50% of the Enterprise class components (Notably the saucer and warp nacelles), these were mated to a new hull and upper roll bar assembly, and thus became extremely cheap to produce. However, the Enterprise class were still the foremost tool for exploration/power projection. Nevertheless, the cost cutting Reliance class is sure to be seen in the fleet in even greater numbers in the future.
