almost right, when the ball fell, you could actually flip it towards you by quickly releasing and re-pressing the button that controlled the folding floor-piece. It didn't fall off by itself but I did indeed bypass it with that mechanic.

I think I fixed
I presume that the ball when hit the floor it flew away to the front of the block in a way that you could pick it
am I right?

Good puzzle, but I stil don't get what the staircase is for. also I think I skipped the part which had the lazer-fields in it entirely but then again it worked for me.
