Description
Case #9: The Batmen

The flames roar to life.

They end their family
claiming to have saved them.
Two casual killers
cannot live with me.

Barnes and Mouser are your next two targets. They are planning a harvest soon. Stop them.

[Mission]
Kill Barnes and Mouser.

[Intel]
Mouser has made himself into Barnes' phylactite. Barnes cannot die until Mouser is dead as well.

[Harvest]
Unlike the owners of the Funhouse. The Elites know how to use ash totems, I'll have to be quick before they turn the entire building into ash.

[Barnes and Mouser]
They are in-charge of all of the Elites harvests. Their death will drastically lower the Elites' ash supply.

--BONUS CHALLENGE--

Clear "The Batmen" without using vents.

Author's Opinion: I've been wanting to make this level before I even started Last Stand. Boy, did the wait pay off.

When I started development, I quickly finished the overall layout of the rooms, but I was completely dry of enemy placement ideas. Because of this lack of inspiration. I stopped working on it for about three days. I was starting to lose hope. All of the anticipation and ideas for this level had been lost at the blink of an eye. Everything was terrible.

Suddenly, there was a month-early Halloween miracle...

I just placed things down and testing to see what worked and what didn't. You know, using the design process. Next thing I know, the level's done and I am extremely proud of it. The boss fight, the enemy placement, the decoration, and of course, the way it moves the plot forward. I've left a secret ending in there as well.

It's a good level in my eyes.

Hunter also discovered a new type of objective detector that doesn't need loud shotgun traps. Big thanks to him for that.

So I suggest taking a look at the top link and scrolling to the cutscenes section. That should teach you how to do it. The guide also has some other level editor stuff that I took advantage of in this level.
