Star Leauge class Dreadnought

the Star Leauge class of dreadnought was concieved as an emergency stopgap until more desireable ships came out in the wake of the Alien crisis. Put simply, this was an upgraded Enterprise base, with heavier armament and swept down instead of swept up. The expansion of the missile systems, forward firing torpedo launchers (with a rollbar taken off of the Reliance class), and a few extra laser turrets, made for a huge improvement over the Enterprise class. This class was influenced fro mthe shalved PROJECT ULYSSES, which was a much more substantial Dreadnought class that was shelved, due to no use for it.
