Renga Chassis

You've just built your rover in survival and five minutes later it's flipped over and crashed. That's why I've made this cheap, durable, super-simple chassis for you. It is wide and stable, and you can use it without fear of losing the time you've invested in building it.

This is a chassis blueprint – nothing fancy. There is too much stuff on the workshop that is impossible to build in survival but this is not one of them. You can use this blueprint as a basis, and customize it to your own needs.

As it is – RENGA is a fully functional transport and scout rover. There is a cockpit hidden under a layer of armor, an o2 generator and double cargo space. It can look for ore and has two medium cargo modules to carry it back home. Most importantly – it is super safe to drive over any terrain so you can breathe easily.

This build is inspired by science fiction novel titled "Janitors of the Late Space Age" which was in turn inspired by Space Engineers (i-i-inception).

After the inconclusive battle for the Red Planet, a couple of Earth's corporations immediately stepped in to claim a chunk of the lawless surface of Mars. RENGA rovers were shipped as a cheap, reliable workhorse for the battle-engineers sent to reclaim Mars.
