The Alpha Male was one of Total Nonstop Action's top stars of the mid 2000s. With his NFL background, charismatic presence and his Pounce(period) finisher, Brown came close to winning the NWA World Heavyweight title from Jeff Jarrett, but came up short, and dropped down the rankings afterwards.

Brown then went to WWE's ECW brand, taking the name Marcus Cor Von, gaining wins over some of the ECW originals until his abrupt retirement.
