Description
Back in remaking WW1 tanks again, with this time a lesser known model: The Medium Mark A Whippet! The Whippet was a small, but fast tank for its time. due its small size it was especially designed for infantry with small-arms engagements and was therefore not equipped with a cannon, but 4 machine guns on each side of the tank. With the recently changed model of the MG crossbow skin, I decided to use the new ironsight to my advantage in creating the gun emplacements!
sadly, just like most other WW1 tanks, this one is not build as a potato-pc proof tank. blockcount: 490.

About the Whippet
The whippet tank was proposed in late 1916 as a faster and cheaper tank by Sir William Tritton (which also designed the famous Mark Tanks). The whippet weighted about 14 tonnes (half the weight of a Mark I tank) and reached a speed of around 13 km/h, close to twice the speed of a Mark tank.
The tanks first appeared relatively late on the battlefield (early 1918). Although it first performances in practice did show some good results. One whippet was also destroyed by an A7V in the world's second tank battle (which wasnt a really challenge for an A7V, since the whippet was not equipped with cannons).

NOTES
*While my steering method allows the user to give a speedboost using [LEFT]+[RIGHT]+[UP] I do not advice using it. if one uses it, and stop instantly the tracks will as good as always break. track suspension is relatively weak with this model, which is correctly compared to its real life counterpart.

UPDATE NOTES 22-12-2018
- Massively increased track durability by making them thicker and decreasing the tension on them. this allows the tank to move for a much longer duration, and to pass small* obstacles without serious harm! *take in mind, tank still lacks suspension
- removed the high grip plates representing engine cooling at the sides, those plates only jammed up the tracks

Thanks guys! @crazy, the Whippet was actually british, so it fought longside the Mark V tank agains the A7V
@Nano, I am not really hyped about the A1E1... although, just as with the whippet, I do not completely whipe away the idea and never build it, but dont see it happen fast. maybe some other interbellum or WW2 tanks for now

A tank I have never really studied into...I love the compromise in building mechanics that you made for the tracks' sideskirts. Once more, you have done a WWI tank well.

Also, quite interestingly, in the past few WWI builds, there are a few comments talking about building an A1E1 Independent, it's all up to you now!
