Shadows of Brimstone: Caverns of Cynder

Description
This contains all the physical assets needed to expand your Shadows of Brimstone game with the Caverns of Cynder expansion. This requires the base game to play and does not include the Caverns of Cynder Adventure Book.

The map tiles I’ve imported for this mod are not double sided like they are for the base mod. I’ve decided to do this for a few reasons and there are some pros and cons to this so feel free to comment with recommendations or requests.

Pros:
- Map tabs have less collision so they don’t get stuck on top of each other and sit level.
- Searching for a tile in the map tile bags leaves them easier to find instead of one half of the tiles names being hidden.
- Importing them as tokens instead of objects with UV maps allows for them to be higher resolutions.
- Tiles don’t have the glare/light reflection that they do with various materials for custom models.

Cons:
- Tiles are not directly tied to one another, though I’m not sure this is a bad thing.
- They can’t be used to make unlimited generators for pieces such as endcaps and gates though this is easily solved with unlimited containers or just copying them when you need more.

If you like the game, please support Flying Frog Productions by purchasing a physical copy of this expansion here: http://flyingfrogproductions.mybigcommerce.com/shadows-of-brimstone/

Updated with less decks, thanks to farvat's suggestion. Let me know if this helps the load time or if there are any more suggestions like this. I'll be working on this update for my other mods as soon as I can, steam was giving me some trouble uploading the files.

@farvat, Thanks for the info, I had no idea. I’ll look into combining all the vertical and horizontal cards into two respective when I get some free time. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thanks for the update Tay, but you should consider the idea of optimizing the decks of cards because their consumption of ram is excessive.

1) TTs loads an entire card template as a single file, so even the empty parts of the template occupy memory. So it is always good to combine all the possible cards in a single template in order to make loading faster for example to optimize the consumption of ram.
The file of the Artifact cards in your mod for example are even divided into two templates of only 5 cards... It follows that a single template weighs over 7 mb of ram! This explains well why once all the epansions are merged on a single table, loading times become decidedly so slow. Fortunately, TTs has been optimized over time because time ago it certainly would have crashed due to the roof represented by the 32-bit executable.

@Rhyno, should be fixed now, let me know if it isn’t or you have any other problems/recommendations.

Hey Tay. Could you fix the Lava Men enemy card when you get a few minutes? It's sideways.

Thanks again as always

@Yurkovsky With respects to FFP’s wishes we don’t publish any of the adventure books. However, if you search online for fan made adventure’s you’ll be able to find a free alternative. Also if you go to boardgamegeek here https://boardgamegeek.com/files/thing/146791/page/3 and look for anything labeled as a mission or adventure and you can use those as a free supplement to see if you're interested enough to buy the actual product.

Hello, where can i find Adventure book?

Personally I own the 4 characters from the City of Ancients core set and the 4 from Swamps of Death core set, all of which are in Cetic’s base mod (since he's given me permission to take over production of that mod I do plan on uploading some higher res scans of the entire mod once I finish the Trederra expansion if that’s what you’re looking for). That said I discovered Shadows of Brimstone too late to be involved with the kickstarted so I don't have access to the other 6 classes. If I can somehow get ahold of any of them or borrow the sets from someone I'd absolutely make a mod for them. Perhaps someday they’ll put them up for sale, though I believe they were designed as kickstarted exclusive so that’s more than likely not going to happen. However I’m trying to pool up some funds to get the shogun level late pledge for the new Forbidden Fortress set, and I’ll be sure to upload that when I get it.

Thanks for uploading this, if you happen to have some of the character classes not uploaded yet could I request those next if you take requests?
