One day on the home station...

V 1.329, "Hey, what do you think of the ship I found?"

One, "... It's a heavily damaged ancient derelict Cruise Liner."

V 1.329, "Isn't it cool?"

One, "While it does qualify as a ship, I must question where you found it."

V 1.329, "I found it near Tony's old station. It's pretty neat."

One, "This ship is so obsolete, your repair gun is now depressed after trying to fix it."

V 1.329 looks at his repair gun. "... These things get depressed?"

One, "Repair guns have been programmed to be one of the most selfless and helpful A.I.'s a person can obtain. They must be in order to handle the multitude of problems living beings somehow create. This ship was so old your repair gun couldn't determine where to begin on this ships older facilities and systems. As a result it is emotionally crushed."

V 1.329, "Well you can fix it right?"

One, "I refuse. I will maintain much of the information on the hull and some of the simpler systems, but I am striking the worst of the obsolete technology from the records immediatly."

V 1.329 "Aw c'mon, it wasn't that bad. It even had coffee machines."

One, "Those are also now gone. In addition, I was unaware until now that I had the capacity to feel dirty. I'll not speak with you again until I have properly debugged my memory."

V 1.329 Stood still for a moment after One cut the connection. He then looked down at his belt where the repair tool was hanging. After a moment he lifted his hand and patted the gun awkwardly. "Uh... sorry little guy."

It beeped... sadly.

Edit: I messed up! I've learned that if you upload a damaged ship as a flotilla, that damage is considered default. I uploaded an actual piece of junk, not just a theoretical piece of junk with hope for the future.
