only works for the underground area, basically worthless

@YellowRexBuddy if its a huge map that is more than 1 gbs and doesnt have navmesh then someone gotta make a navmesh addon for it

Clyde generating a navigational mesh on a surface with hills and bumpy areas like on this map can takes HOURS.

Unfortunately, gmod uses the newer L4D style navmesh generation, which can use an unbounded amount of memory and eventually crash the game on larger maps like gm_atomic (and some of the other maps I've released navmeshes for). I generate these navmeshes on SourceSDK 2007, and then port them to gmod. I also hand-edit the navmesh to make up for the areas where automatic generation doesn't do too good.

Specifically on gm_atomic, you'll only get the navmesh for the starter room (like some people seem to have done) if you use the built-in generation without extra setup.

My gosh how dumb do people have to be?? just load up a map you need a navmesh for, then open console with the ~/` button, then type nav_generate, wait for the game to load, then ya done!! HOW IDIOTIC DO YOU HAVE TO BE???

why do people think its a scam

I seriously want the nav_mesh, but it doesn't work for me. I tried uninstalling some addons that could do anything to it, but the single place where I get it is in the spawn area. Have anything with which I can make it work?
