Description
Level 10 - The Golden City (Prince Belmorne)

You have done well, Kasita to have defeated Rhaskos. You may expect him to return for Rhaskos shall likely not give up this realm easily. Behold now, Kasita, the Golden City, the very heart of Ellfador and what was once the capital of your Empire. The Golden City is the result of the Empire stealing the fruits of your labour and creating a most glorious and magnificent city of their own and is guarded by a rather competent Empire lord: Prince Belmorne. The city derives its name from the sheer amount of gold found within.

Yet note well that the Empire has stolen much of the gold within this realm to construct the city. Thus, you may have to resort to new measures to collect gold. Look to the aureate monolith, Kasita. Once constructed, any nearby foe defeated shall immediately be turned into a statue of gold ready for your workers to mine. Once activated, it shall claim all nearby gold within rocks, gold from vaults, and even golden statues. The Empire has plenty of vaults around, and gold mines which cannot be reached except with this construct. Remember that you may even use the construct to claim the gold from the city's walls and even the statues inside it. Make use also of the prison, Kasita, for with it may you use the blood money spell to turn any Empire units you capture into golden statues. Cast lightning upon these statues to prevent your workers from mining them, should you wish to decorate your dungeon with them.

Be wary, Kasita, for the Empire does not want to lose such a prized city. Expect Prince Belmorne to have mustered a very powerful force, and do not be surprised if they choose to attack you.

Estimated time: 55-100 minutes.

Lol, great to hear. This was quite an experimental level, with a fair few changes to my usual level design.
