The Board of directors have gathered to decide how to expand the aiport to the north. The completion of runway 18L/36R allows crews to begin clearing runway 9/27 in preperation for the expansion. Option one is to extend onto the existing terminal, expanding the check-in area, and also relocating the shops and reasturants in the main hall. Option 2 is to buy more land and build a New complex that will eventually replace the old terminal. both options plan to bring aircraft that will make use of heavy gates.
