Description
A combat variant of the Lynnard Mk.IV which lost her resource processing abilities but in lieu thereof gained extended shielding, weaponry, speed and cargo space. Also paddles!

Note: This Ship features a Critical Energy Grid which also powers an additional small Shield Unit at 25% Output while still being able to charge its own Batteries and Powercells should the auxiliary Generator fail.

Increasing this Shield Output may cause failure of Life Support, and Transportation!

In Case of entering the Ship without any Hydrogen at hand or having supplied any to the Ships Fuel Tanks, the Critical Energy Grid may be Kickstarted as follows:
Locate the small Shield Unit in the AftMidSection of the Ship at the lowest Deck and deactivate it and wait for at least 30 seconds before reactivation.
The Shield Unit should now begin charging within 10 seconds and Energy will be supplied to the other Critical Ship Systems.

Weapon Grouping: This Ship has four Weapon Groups excluding the Default Group which contains Turrets (First Ammunition Loader placed in FwdSection).
The Weapon Groups split the six Ship Cannons in one Group (Ammunition Loader placed in AftMidSection) and the Six Missile Launchers in three Groups á two.
To select the weaponry, Number Keys have to be assigned to the Groupings, while Piloting the Ship, at the Pilots Control Panel.


Edit 11.02.2018: I've finally come around to give this Ship another pass over and the following have changed:

  • Added 1 Escape Pod
  • Removed 6 Small Hydrogen Fuel Tanks
  • Removed 2 Powercells
  • Added 4 Medium Hydrogen Fuel Tanks
  • Added 1,5 Cargopads to FwdSection
  • Shifted 2 Cargopads from AftSection to MidSection
  • Added Red Colour Strips at FwdSection, MidSection and AftMidSection where Turrets are located

Resulting in:
  • +12 Stacks Cargo Capacity
  • +40K Fuel Capacity
  • -20K Energy Capacity
  • -4 m/s Max. Speed
  • Average Resource Cost Increase: 3.87%
  • Average Runtime Increase: 27.5%
  • Average Warprange Increase: 26.4%
