Era - 1970s / 1990s - NJPW / AJPW / FMW / IWA Japan

Born in India and trained in Canada, Tiger Jeet Singh found fame in Japan, feuding with top talent from around the world. He fought a vicious feud with Antonio Inoki that included a legendary brawl within a supermarket and an infamous Island Deathmatch against Hiroshi Hase that took place on an actual small isolated island with a ring on it and little else.

Singh was more of a brawler than a wrestler, carrying a trademark sword to the ring and drawing blood in many matches, a trademark that would lead him to form a terrifying team with Abdullah the Butcher.
