Description
Fire Pro Wrestling D official Spike edit version of Bob Backlund. All 4 costumes, full stats, full moveset, full logic. Everything comes from the Fire Pro Wrestling D Dreamcast game.

The Spike edits for FPD only have one costume but Backlund is also in FPW2. So I used his appearance there for the other three costumes. I don't even think that they changed the colours for him so I left them as is.

Yeah, no problem. The only mistake I saw was in "opponent dazed" you put stat points in "front grapple" but those points should have been in "back grapple" because FPD and FPW2 don't have a "front grapple" section.

Thanks for the mention. Do you mind if I use your logic to fix mine? A decent amount of people are subscribed to mine and I'd like to give them the best version possible.

I did try to tweak the AI to make him wrestle more like Bob (I simmed a bunch of matches and he never went for the crossface chickwing with the Spike AI) but I was a bit over my head.

I used the edit by yo_charlie as a base. He was apparently using the FP2 Backlund but it must be almost identical to the FPD version. Yo_charlie's edit was the first port that I've seen that actually tried to transfer things as they are. He made a small mistake in the logic, changed things up for moves and logic that didn't exist in FP2, changed the stance, and got creative with the costumes but generally, he was going for a straight port. So good for him.

Every other alleged port I've seen makes so many changes to the moveset, logic, appearance, and even stats that I don't even know why they claim it's a port. Just say that you're making a new character. There's nothing wrong with that. Or that it's LOOSELY based on the Fire Pro version.
