i find that types of fish have a variety of shapes and shades in their tails and fins, my rainbow dash is like 75% fish - lulz
i think i was one under with twilight
using the "similar object" button helps a LOT

Awesome. And yeah part limits and the ear is a problem. Something I do is I use the hair whenever possible to get rid of the seam between the head and ear shapes. I used a leaf for awhile and lowered it so that the stem would connect and make the eyeball have an eyelash to mask what it was.

Something interesting I'm messing with is finding parts without the dot on them for limbs. If you type drumstick (the food kind) you get the hindquarters leg shape a bit more accurate but without the dot. Looks pretty cool. Still trying to find more useful parts that can hold multiple paint stripes though for Rainbow Dash. She eats the part count alive getting her tail and main. Same goes for Twilight.

i also use the ear from the head to avoid a restriction with parts
i am pretty satisfied with the head....
i mean it'd be nice for a perfect head, but....

thanks though!
i have perused you collection for ideas before

Hey I just wanted to help you out a bit since I see you are painting the heads to get the shape right. You can use a duckling and yank off its body to use as a head. Here's the result I got.

You can check out my stuff by searching MLP to use for parts or templates if you want to. I like your work, but I thought this might help you a bit.

yeah this was my first pony, and although i dont think the above image is 100% accurate you bring up good points
1. yeah.... i was naive then... i'll see if i can hide the tail now
2. sorry, but she wont be getting a cutie mark, the objects scale only so far (there is even a trick to make them even smaller than their limit) and everything has a black outline, the cutie marks are really faded and have no black outline in the show... if i were to add them i think everyone would be thinking "who sewed balloons to pinkie pie's flank?"
3. yeah pinkie was my first i acctually updated the nose after her... see if i can at least make it look more like the others

i know you did hard work but uh... well
1. i can see a black tail coming out of the same spot, as well as her real tail making her look like she is taking a shit

2. she has no cuite mark

3. that nose is massive
