Kopis Sword Mod

Description
This mod replaces all four Greek sword models with the Kopis. There is historical evidence that the Kopis was just as widely used by infantry and cavalry.

we can all agree though that Kastor is true badass for being able to hold two (3 if we count the mod) swords in one hand the same time heh.

Yep, just as I suspected, the Kastor model has a sword in it already. But strangely, ES gave him a sword attachment (which this mod replaces with the Kopis) in the anim file. So he actually has two swords at all times even without any mods but it's not noticeable because the one that is part of his model is very similar in shape to the Attachments G Sword. I can fix this for you in my Minor Bug Fix mod. Thanks for alerting me to it.

just checked and the same happens with the xiphos mod, though its not as visible since both are straight blades.

Kastor's gameplay sword model is kinda funny regardless but dispite the fact it looks nothing like the sword the units use ,when the mod is used the two models somehow mix together and with the tip of the kopis sticking out it looks more like a huge feather than a sword.

Are you saying it looks like that 'by comparison' or are you saying the mod is somehow actually changing Kastor's sword? (which might be intentional if Kastor uses the same sword as the mortal units).

there is a slight problem I noticed, when the mod is used it,Kastor's sword basically turns into something that looks more like a human size feather XD

That would useful.

If the texture mod just replaces the vanilla textures (by having new textures with the same name), then yes, it would be. However, if the texture mod edits the anim files for the hypaspist and hippikon (for example, using ReplaceTexture), then no, that would not be compatible with the mod I would make for you. The mod I would be making for your request would involve editing the anim file as well and two mods that edit the same file with the same name will not be compatible with one another obviously. I really should make a video about how various mods are compatible or incompatible with one another since this stuff probably isn't obvious to non-modders.

I see, are these models compatible with texture mods for units?

I'm not going to make another mod that is essentially the same thing but offline only as that would just clutter the workshop. However, if you send me an email at callistonian58@gmail.com I can send you such a mod for your personal use with instructions on installing it.
