Ah, the props were missing for my cloned version because, to make it easier to select the ones I wanted to clone, I had disabled all assets but the ones I wanted to clone before using the Asset Editor.

Running a road across the backside of the field does keep the farm building from being abandoned (it turns out that there are two of them on top of one another) .

I've tried to clone and edit this myself to align the main sub-building with the footprint and to move the farm building(s) up to the road side ... but the props are missing from my clone.

This appears to be two different assets "stuck" together, with their footprints mis-matched (off by a few pixels on the width, off by a full game tile on the depth) ... and so it is actually 8x9.

Moreover, the farm building at the back (apparently it's part of the second footprint) eventually gets abandoned. I've deleted the first "Grass Field with Red Cows" I placed and have placed a new one. I've run a road across the back side to see if that solves the farm building's problem.
