In the distant past of what would one day be known as the Mushroom World...

Far, far away in space, in a place untouched by starlight, the creepy inhabitants of a dark and dismal planet scan the heavens for signs of life.

Creatures born of fungi, these entities possessed advanced space-warp technology, capable of bridging the gap between the stars. All of their technology is fueled by a powerful, space-time warping organic substance known as VIM.

To produce this miraculous fluid, they must seed living worlds with their spores, transforming the inhabitants of those worlds into docile VIM-producing mushroom-person hybrids, fit for later harvest.

After a long search, they finally rest their gaze upon a small blue planet teeming with life. Our world will never be the same again...

Beware the Forest Mushrooms!

For those who missed it, this is meant to be set in the distant past of the Super Mario universe. It tells the story of how the Mushroom World came to be. This has been sitting on my computer for a while, but I figured with Odyssey around the corner I might as well finish it up and release it. So here it is!

Fantheories aside, there's a bunch of features that make this scenario unique.

Features:

Play as the alien Shroobs! Use special Mothership abilities to subjugate and harvest humanity

Harvest 1000 DNA points and subjugate humanity to win

Trick people into spreading your spores by evolving tasty mushrooms

Mutate monsters to carry your spores over land borders

Create power-ups so monsters don't kill humans too quick

Use Warp Pipes to send your spores even farther

Some tricky and fun secret events...what happens if you fully evolve those turtles? You'll have to try it to find out :)
