Absolutly love this mod! Especially for ropes!
They where way to costly in vanilla game yet way to cheap and easy when using infinite rope mods.

This add's tons of interesting gameplay and makes upgrading towords the grappling hook feel more rewarding. Also those throwable weapons i never used i now actually use them without feeling to much overpowered (well maybe a little).

Only the explosive throwables are a bit silly you can't reuse those but oh well.

Can you make a patch where you can get them back if they hit a block, but not a mob?

Truth be told i'm not the smartest of the bunch. I honestly I have no idea how i'd go about that. That being said sorry for not recieving the comment earlier.

The get explosive back is not a glitch, it's intentional. The author of the mod made a comment below regarding this. Read it if you like.

So, this mod is glitchy and you can get explosives back? Can someone make an alt of this that fixes those problems?
Lyra 11 Jun, 2018 @ 4:50pm
Yes, if you click the rope again before it latches onto something, you get back more rope.

Just tried it without the rope mod and now if I spam rope I can get more rope every now & then

It'd probably be real easy for you to do, @TheEbrother. Download the mod off chucklefish. If it's a .pak file, follow the instructions on the page that comes up when you search "how to unpack .pak file" and remember where the command line argument comes in quotes, it actually is typed in quotes. Then find whichever files modify the items you care about and delete them. I know it's not a modification to a master throwing script, given how it doesn't affect some modded throwables I use. Then use that mod. Things don't need to be packed to be used in your mods folder, or uploaded to steam, if you get his permission to upload your version.

Bear with me and please don't try to be angered. I was wondering if you'd be able to (or have a different version if it's not too much trouble) to have a version that doesn't have retrievable bombs and explosives or items that couldn't be retrieved in real life.

@ReeceBar I'm not going to update this without the rope edit since having retrievable rope was the main reason I wanted to make this in the first place.

Shadow Wolf TJC's original mod still works and it doesn't change the rope at all, though it doesn't cover as many thrown items as this mod does. I'm not sure if it can be downloaded on steam, but here's the link to the Chucklefish page if you'd like to download it manually: https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/reusable-throwable-weapons-discontinued.2687/

Alternatively, if you really like this one better you can always download this mod manually from the mod's Chucklefish mod page and make your desired changes just by deleting the .patch file for the rope. The link to the mod page is in the description above.
