Chaos Knights Damage Buff

Description
Updated for Silence and Fury!

This small mod increases the amount of Armour-Piercing Damage Chaos Knights and their Lance variant do. It ALSO adds +8 Bonus vs. Infantry to regular Chaos Knights and +8 Bonus vs. Large to Chaos Knights with Lances. I made these additions so that the two variants of Chaos Knights could even more effectively act as a pair, with the sword variant mulching infantry while your lance-wielders skewer enemy cavalry. Meanwhile, the extra AP damage will allow them to chew through armoured units significantly more effectively.

Chaos Knights
Vanilla Damage: 32 Base, 14 AP, BvI 0
Modded Damage: 27 Base, 19 AP, BvI 8

Chaos Knights (Lances)
Vanilla Damage: 31 Base, 15 AP, BvL 0
Modded Damage: 26 Base, 20 AP, BvL 8

I'm not gonna lie to you folks, this mod scares me. I am afraid of my own creation. The Warriors of Chaos might be a bit of a joke campaign right now, but their Chosen certainly aren't, nor are their Hellcannons. Chaos Knights aren't exactly weak in Vanilla either, but they aren't as intimidating as either of those two monsters. Now, with this mod, they are! With this mod a Doom Stack of Chosen, Chaos Knights and Hellcannons is truly terrifying! There is no longer any comparatively weak link in the Chaos roster for you to focus on taking down first. Now every elite unit coming at you is extremely dangerous and I wish you the best in surviving against them! And if you are one of those poor fools that masochistically plays as Warriors of Chaos in their current state, then I hope this mod serves as a very small consolation prize for their terrible campaign.

Updated for current patch. This mod was quite out of date due to changes made in patches over the years. No longer! This version of the mod doesn't feature significant changes to Chaos Knights with Lances, but the base variant has received a big buff thanks to incorporating vanilla buffs to their damage! Marshal your doom ponies and destroy the world!

@Matthias - Yeah, I get that. I was first inspired to try making mods when I was let down by how weak Bretonnia's Grail Knights and Grail Guardians were, very sad for the best cavalry of the Old World lol. Regarding modding, I'm also a novice, but thankfully the mods I am interested in making are simple. I personally got started by downloading Pack File Manager back in the Rome 2 days and opening up other people's mods and tweaking them a bit for my own use. Helped me get comfortable poking around the various tables and starting to understand what they did. :)

@Matthias - Sorry to be overly abrupt last time, I was busy and haven't had much time for Steam sadly. But I don't want to do a Chosen mod simply because I feel they are in a really good place by default. They already destroy basically anything if the proper variant is matched against the correct unit, and vigour immunity would give them terrifying staying power. As for the ROR Swords of Chaos I will likely update the mod to give them a bonus vs infantry, but I dunno if/how I will adjust their damage. As for compatibilty, this mod only edits one table and will be compatible with any mod that doesn't adjust Chaos Knight weapon damage (including adding bonus vs. large/infantry). I'd like to keep it this way so people can mix and match with other small tweaks to the same units.

@Estarc can you do a mod the makes chosen and chaos knights immune to vigour
and will you update this mod for the riders of the acylopse ROR as soon as CA adds hem?
and can it be combitable with this mod

@Flusky - You're welcome, I'm glad it helped. I don't personally play Chaos so I don't have the opportunity to test them properly in a campaign like I might like. But I figured having something with a bit more kick to back up the Chosen would be nice.
