Metallic Ping Headshot Sounds

Description
-Makes the headshots on other players easier to hear by replacing the default audio cues with more noticeable ones.

-Will make tracking the headshots needed for certain achievements a little bit easier.

-It also changes the local (first person) headshot sound if your character is wearing a helmet.

Alternate version of this mod (with Shooting Range bulls-eye sound effects): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1184454537

N.B. The sound will vary (drastically) depending on how far you are to the player who gets shot in the head. (Snipers shouldn't expect to hear their bullet hitting an opponent's helmet at 100m, specially not with the sound of gunfire all around them.)

Yup, it's weird, though intentional. I made this mod in order to make headshots more noticeable to the player, albeit to the detriment of the game's realism...

It's very weird if you headshot a person wearing a hat

i think it's a great and fun mod, but i can barely hear it over the gunfire can you make it a bit louder or make a new version of this one with a bit louder sound.

Of course I know this sound effect is counterfactual. I never claimed this mod was intended to improve the game's overall realism. The purposefully exaggerated sound of a bullet hitting a metallic object was made as a way for players to get an audible cue (if they so wish) when they manage to hit an opponent's head in a firefight, making it easier to track headshots/achievements. Never did I say this mod's aim was to give DoI a more true to life game experience. If you want realism, I recommend you stick to the original headshot soundfiles.
