Mark Curtis was the ring name for Brian Hildebrand, and was one of the most respected referees of the 1990s. Having worked in Smokey Mountain and ECW, Curtis became a top official for WCW, and despite his slight stature, was trained as a wrestler and was known for his impeccable timing and unfailing ability to keep his senses no matter what went on around him.
