While the Valient moved troops from orbit to the surface, and the Banshee gunships moved small fire teams around the battlefield, there was still no real vehicle for cheaply transporting large quantaties of infantry.

Based on invasion landers of the World Wars, the Corporate's new attack barges were fairly inexpensive, and could move up to eighteen men at once. A Skyshield acting as a mobile base of operations could deploy up to nine of these open roof transports, bringing a total of one-hundered sixty-two men to a fight.

When landed, the barge can provide covering fire with its chin mounted machine gun, but is by no means qualified to go up against a dedicated combat vehicle.

Notes: This craft is piped up, and could probably be built in survival if you have a tug to set up the ramp.
