honestly channel 9 is amazing map and the ending part is fun

Channel9 is spamming the console with error messages and has missing textures since the zps 3.1 update.

I always loved the idea of a map based on a T.V. station and trying to broadcast it over TV to attempt to get rescue. its a solid idea, and it fits well into ZPS. The map itself is quite unique, even if it suffers from severe layout problems(too wide open hallways and rooms, super easy to camp zombie spawns, etc), and i always liked the feeling of it. Would love for a spiritual successor to this map at some point.

While thats a fun idea @Cpt Quag, I don't think it would be appropriate. This is a refurbished map from 9 or 10 years ago. The original author went to great lengths to give this map the brand of "Channel 9" including custom textures and brush-work. And I think that would be dis-respectful to his work. Also this is a well-known, and old, map. People will play it and say "Hey, this is just Channel 9 with a different name, wtf?" I think it would however be a great idea for somebody to make a new map that is based at the WGON TV station from Dawn of The Dead.

Is there anyway we can transform the Channel 9 station to the true Dawn of the Dead WGON Television station with the correct logos and everything. You can see a sample of the WGON logo here:

I would love to see the Channel 9 map transform into the WGON Television Station from the 1978 classic, Dawn of the Dead. Thoughts everyone?

Doors needs to be changed to destructible, and only usable by survivors.
There needs to be more beacons for objectives.
The objective text seems to go away for some objectives, making it confusing what to do - like retrieving the SOS tape after uploading.
The map feels like it might be a bit too survivor sided, at least for low player counts.
The staircase is too much of a choke point, the zombies need another way upstairs.

The doors serve no purpose if both zombie and human can open and close them. With the new update people are constantly being stuck and trapped in doorways- so there needs to either be the new breakable doors added or take some of the doors away completely.

This map is a damn labyrinth.
