Description
Restored for v3.1 by Ratboy

Version 3 of Restoration
Synopsis:
The military has destroyed the exits from the city. Luckily, there's a radio station that broadcasts on weekends from The Blackbird club -- or at least, it used to before the zombie outbreak!

Ah, Black bird. I love this map, still do. The rooftop might need some dramatic improvements to avoid being as camp heavy as it was, but i always liked the vibe. it mostly plays well outside of the rooftop camping being frustrating to deal with at times, and i really liked the feeling of this being some small, kinda shitty not very well upkept club. Was way more in line with the original ZP's club zombo in tone and feel.

I'm pretty sure I edited that sound effect to loop and stop properly ages ago, but I'll take another look at it next time I have this project open. In the meantime... it's a nostalgia feature, not a glitch. :D

I can hear a bird flapping it's wings on the rooftop, but can't see it.

Could swear it was there when the map was new, many years back lol.

Ah yeah, pretty much all of my workshop maps are broken right now. I'm basically waiting for the 3.1 release to bother fixing any of them. I did however release a fix for Chanel 9 and gave it directly to Pillz for his server. I can probably get around to taking a look at what the problem is. Probably just workshop nonsense that a good 'ol fashioned recompile could fix. It's probably just not mounting the custom workshop files properly, and I'll just pakrat embed them like the old days.

Thanks for fixing and releasing the map.

I have 2 bug reports to make, even though they are probably closely related.

1. On the part where the loud music should be playing and you have to disable it again, no music is actually playing.
The console says:
Failed to load sound "necrotales\breakbeatloop.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository

2. The console is spamming errors all over the place about missing vmt files.
This is not only spamming the console but also seems to kill a lot of fps.
The errors are something like:
CMaterial::PrecacheVars: error loading vmt file for necrotales/sign_club_blackbird_01a
CMaterial::DrawElements: No bound shader
CMaterial::PrecacheVars: error loading vmt file for necrotales/decals/sign_biohazard01
etc..

I guess that necrotales folder isnt where it used to be.

Thanks for porting this, but the original version had several exploits:

The traffic light in the street isn't clipped off.
You can go inside of the green garbage bin to the left of where the survivors spawn to clip outside of the map.
You can surf up the slope next to the subway entrance.
Although very difficult, you can surf up onto the billboard on the roof of the club.
You can jump over to the ledge above the hole in the window of the parking garage.

If they're not fixed I can provide screenshots to be more specific.
