Description
Helipad markers added to buildings so helicopters land where they are supposed to!

Why did I do this? For those that have Natural Disasters and use helicopters for services. CS created a helipad marker for editors to add to their buildings some time ago. Much like adding blue markers for assets without designed parking spaces; the helicopter marker is meant to designate where a helicopter should land. If one is not placed, then by default (as many of you noticed) the helicopters will land front centre at the base of the building. This is completely unrealistic... especially when there are helipads standing idle. Confused why CS never fixed that in the latest update.

Mods to ensure placement of these buildings instead of the vanilla:
- Option A: Building Themes
- Option B: Plop the Growables
- Option C: Find It!

Vanilla Assets which have been fixed and in this pack:
- H5 4x3 Highrise01
- H5 4x4 Highrise02
- H3 3x4 Hotel
- H3 4x4 Office01
- H3 4x3 Office06
Assets have been resaved in their original RCI and cell-space dimensions.

Switching out Vanilla Assets for these ones: (Added H for Heli to help identify in manager)
- In Building Themes uncheck the above listed and activate instead ex:
-> H5 4x3-H-Highrise01
-> H5 4x4-H-Highrise02
-> etc

Contrary to the tag, this pack includes 1xHC, 2xOf, and 2xHR.

To my knowledge @Aziz but I must emphasize that this was CO did not use their own helicopter marker when updated the game to have helicopters land at these residential buildings rather than in front on the ground like they do for the others. So yes it works but up to you to rationalize the extra filesize and then to make sure to disable the preexisting vanilla assets. Just adds a tiny bit of realism.

To do that @飞飞哥计划 you need the Advanced Building mods to create pathways from upper levels and bring them down. Not the best at using those mods. Furthermore you would also need to save vehicles as the blimp AI. There aren't many in the workshop who have done this. @Giometry E was working on a similar project some time ago though and recommend asking him.

@BrowncoatTrekky thanks for your working.that is really nice.could you improve it and make helipad as an additional entrance for highrise. And build a transport system that enable helicopters to land and take off at each helipad we add. Then it’s possible to set some helicopters as air vehicle to bring passengers to where they want, just as the bus or metro do.

I have been working on something similar for some time as seen HERE @DreeseDatalink. When you embed both the Helicopter Depot and Hospital or Police Station into the same building there will be times when the hidden building aka the station will have helicopters land front centre to drop patients/prisoners off before taking off and then landing on the roof. You could use MoveIt! to raise the blue heli marker in the invisible building in a seperate crp, but requires severl tests to match each building's size you then wish to place it in with the proper precision to ensure the same helicopter in the depot masked buildings which takes off, then lands in the same place as the other station or hospital building's landing pad.

i wonder if it is possible ot create a hidden building similar to the PPG buildings that can be raised with move it to the top of any building, and or a helipad prop to go with it

@[Delta ²k5] the idea is for helicopters to be landing on the markers instead of the front part of the building. I cannot explain why that did not work for you at the time but should not be the case with these assets.

Some probably stupid question: even if we got these markers in place, do helicopters land there by now? In my first try adding a marker to a custom rci/landmark building they also just landed in front of the building instead of using that marker...
