Report a translation problem
(If you are interested in why it is impossible, that is because the pathfinding system in the game can not work with different height values. From the villagers' (and animals') point of view, the world is a flat 2D plane)
i was considering trying out modding few weeks ago, i honestly couldnt understand it.
If there are problems with the building that you haven't seen before, please report in detail :-)
(The issue you encountered might be caused sometimes when a game is saved during bridge construction and then loaded back up, because of the way such values as building height are being handled by this game. The height mechanic for the bridges was invented and generously shared by dominuskevin, and I don't know enough about it to know if the issue can be fixed. Fortunately, I doesn't happen often :-)
It was across a rather deep gorge, so maybe that was the issue. It's a great mod by the way. I've used it in other places since my post without encountering the problem. So... gremlins maybe.
Let me take the opportunity to thank you for your mod work. Well done.
LtDutchman - Sorry for my belated answer. I'm not planning on making a wider version of the bridge, because arranging the models is a lot of work. Might the base game pavement provide a solution to your building situation?
