Marienburg - City of the Wasteland

Description
Marienburg, the City of the Wasteland

The city last city to straddle the river Reik before it empties into the the Sea of Claws, Marienburg is the capital of the Westerlands, also known as the Wasteland. The city is a massive collection of haphazard buildings mounted atop one another that spans numerous islands on either side of the river. Bridges span its many canals and a maze of densely compacted streets winds from the dock districts to the large market squares. It is one of the oldest cities of Man in the Old World and certainly one of the richest, home to many peoples who have carved out sections of the bustiling trade center from the local Jutones to settled Norscans and several High Elf clans- whose ancient race built Marienburg's foundations.

Ported from WH1!

The map is a little different from how it was in the first game, cliffs have a tendency to not be rendered at a distance so I had to do some workarounds to keep the outfield from floating. There's also been a bit of decoration added and some tweaking to the AI mapping.

There's little easter eggs here and there, a lot of decoration and a huge overhaul to the swamp, so it looks more swampy.

This'll be on GCCM soon, and then we'll finally have a Marienburg worth burning again.

Let me know what y'all think. It should work just fine but I'd love any feedback.

Updated Again!

Fixed some deployment stuff, AI uses rams now and deploys at all sections of the wall, also cleaned up some buggy outfield. Should be good for GCCM, gonna test it a little more but expect it soonish.

GCCM has this map in it with my permission. So you don't even need this one to play it in campaign.

Alright, so there's an issue with the water, I think, that's causing some bugginess for the defenders. I'm working on a fix

Having some trouble with ordering units around the map, only the walls and the victory point right at the back are valid ground to order a unit to walk to. the rest of the interior of the city is "impassible", so units cant be told to go there but can walk through it (ie from the walls to the victory point). Thanks for the map though, cant wait to play it
