VERY IMPORTANT: DEATHWATCH MOD. Is the successor mod to Rework v2. Find it in the workshop, as rework v2 will no longer receive updates.

Common issues/requests.
- Any content from the Endless War update is impossible to implement into any mod. As it is not supported in the outdated mod tools. No Wraith Seer for you unfortunately.

Dawn Of War - Rework v2 summary.
This mod was developed in order to bring Dawn Of War 3, closer to the 40K standards we expected.
With the addition of changes to all three factions, including new units, and new gameplay mechanics, I hope to bring this game, the attention I feel that it deserves. Dawn Of War 3 in my opinion has more potential than any Dawn Of War game thus far, and this work is my refusal, to watch this game die.

Oh wait, it just did. ♥♥♥♥.

General Changes
All population resource requirements removed.

KILL TEAM IRONMAW is currently MIA, and cannot be used in this mod.

THE POWER RESOURCE rate has been increased from 0.05208333 to 0.104.

Objectives such as the Shield Generator, Turret, and Power Core can now be repaired.
Objectives HP increased by +100%.

All unit production buildings and HQs, have HP increased by +100%.

Now only Infantry and skimmers may capture strategic points. Builders, Walkers and Vehicles cannot.

All builders now repair +100% faster.

To emphasize the importance of positioning and to counter the small sniper DPS buff, all Sniper squads now receive +25% increased damage when attacked from behind.

To reduce the feeling that Vehicle armour behaves like paper when attacked from behind, All Vehicles that were susceptible to taking +250% increased damage from behind, now have that damage reduced to +200%.

Heavy Bolter Turrets and Big Shoota Turrets now deal AOE damage, making them much more effective at their intended role of defence. However they now have their HP reduced from 2500 > 2000. Eldar Turrets have been reworked entirely already.

Turrets do not require a doctrine to build, this was silly.

Now let’s talk computer opponents. For you bot bullies out there. Normal and Hard bots now get a resource multiplier buff. Ork bots now get so crazy that my game crashes. Heres a comparison.
Vanilla Normal Bot
Resource Rate: REQ +150%, POW +150%, ELITE +100%
STARTING BONUS: REQ +0, POW +0, ELITE +0

Vanilla Hard Bot
Resource Rate: REQ +160%, POW +160%, ELITE +100%
STARTING BONUS: REQ +0, POW +0, ELITE +0

VS…

Mod Normal Bot
Resource Rate: REQ +400%, POW +150%, ELITE +100%
STARTING BONUS: REQ +0, POW +0, ELITE +0

Try Hard Bot
Resource Rate: REQ +800%, POW +300%, ELITE +200%
STARTING BONUS: REQ +750, POW +50, ELITE +1

Select “Non Unique Character Elites”, are now trainable for each race, with their own squad cap limits, and requirements. These squad cap limits include:

2 Terminators, 2 Assault Terminators, 1 Imperial Knight Paladin

2 Storm Boyz, 2 Mega Armour Nobz, 1 Gorkanaut

2 Striking Scorpions, 2 Warp Spiders, 1 Wraith Knight Ranged.

Varlock Guardsmen (Needs Solaria)
DeathWatch Predator (Needs KTIM - known bug, do not load any unit into the predator. They won't be able to disembark.)

Pain Boy (repairs infantry)

If you are too lazy to read them, or to even play test this mod, I don’t really care. Downloading this mod is completely free, and reporting all the changes has been extensive… and has yet to be completed.

I will no longer be supporting my mods, as the developer is withdrawing from the games development. Apparently they have stated, that they will not even be releasing the full mod tools as well, so there really is no point.

Really wish/hope someone like you makes a mod JUST to add the Imperial Guardsmen as a unit to be deployed from the Space Marine's Command Center with the same stats as the Scout Marines that can also throw Frags...

Hey, maybe you'll help me?
How did you put the Imperial Guard in your mod? When I try to make them buildable in the SM HQ, the icon and text is there, but when I build them, I only get pink boxes with "This model has not been precached"

No it mean Dawn of War Rework v2, now has a successor mod, which is the DEATHWATCH mod.
