Era - 1990s - WCW

July 7, 1996 was a day that would change wrestling history. As the Outsiders squared off against Lex Luger, Macho Man Randy Savage and Sting, they promised a third mystery partner, who ended up being none other than Hulk Hogan, turning his back on the fans.

Hogan, Hall and Nash formed the New World Order, promising to take over WCW. Hogan soon won the WCW title, and expanded his ranks, continuing a reign of terror over the organization. Week after week, month after month, Hogan may have lost the WCW World Heavyweight title at times, but kept regaining it. Lex Luger, Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, Sting and Goldberg all challenged at times, but the New World Order would remain until it finally imploded.

In his Hollywood incarnation, Hogan would use every dirty trick he could conjure up, whether it be low blows, constant interference or even a flash fireball which he utilized against the Ultimate Warrior.
