Anahera

Coming from the Maori people of New Zealand, Anahera found her calling as a wrestler during a trip to the United States, a friend having brought her to a show run by the predecessor company to Phoenix Rising. There, she saw Winifred Wright tear through her competition, and a new fan was born that day: after the show, Anahera was able to meet Winifred, and asked to train with her. The tough Maori woman was a fast learner, and quickly picked up Winifred's hard-hitting style, mixing in impressive agility to complement it. She is proud to call herself Maori, but it does not define her entire being: she is Anahera, and that is all that matters.

Over the course of the past few years, Anahera has teamed up with Xiu Mei Li, and together, as the Rising Storm, have dominated the tag divisions of multiple feds, multiple shows, and quite simply have become the single most decorated tag team in Phoenix Rising history.
