Description
Behold.

Hauptbahnhof is the biggest station available for Cities Skylines.

Hauptbahnhof was inspired from Subbahnhof train-hub, made for post-war Berlin in paralel with Germania project.

I made extensive modifications on the main design and changed my aspects of it, only kept the size.

Technical Details
  • Semi-modular capacity: Comes with 1 straight, 1 perpendicular stop modules and rooftop.
  • Station Central and North segments can be set as regional/city only traffic independently.
  • Custom LODs
  • 17 train stop tracks, compatible with longest trains available, totaling to staggering 34 stop configuration for a train station.

Performance
  • 68k total vertices with variant texture sizes.
  • LIGHTER than growables (notified by Avanya)
  • Uses same texture set for three modules so it's loads only 30mb equivalent texture.

Placing the station
  • Place main module "Hauptbahnhof.1" next to a road.
  • From that road, drag 48u long road, perpendicular to the main module. Extend this module as paralel to the main entrance.
  • Plop "Hauptbahnhof.3", that is North wing.
  • Place roof. Drag it by using Move It.
  • Citizens can travel between modules but due to the size, metro stops are available to transport citizens between modules.

Potential Glitches
  • Building doesn't light up the same time, this is due to the in-game illumination mechanics, that assigns a random "seed" for illumination, causing subbuildings to light up desyncronized.

Doesn't work correctly, that miss many things it seems that the building is not finished even with the roof...

hmm maybe mention that this wasn't just "made for post-war Berlin", but much more was part of the megalopian architecture with which the Nazis wanted to plaster the capital after their "Endsieg".

Any chance of getting this building without all the train station guts inside? Maybe as a unique building? The model itself is incredibly gorgeous!

Friendly notes for other users - I'm sure REV0 is aware of this stuff already.

- With the Parkify mod enabled, this asset's station modules MUST be placed inside a park area. It will not place roadside like normal!
- With the MOM mod enabled, all the station platforms are detected as SUBWAY stations, not surface stations, so users will need to disable MOM to place this asset's modules as normal train stations.

building part no.1&3 does't work. i only see the roof no.2
