Matt Hardy (No DLC)

Just when you think you can count Matt Hardy out, he comes back stronger. Often paired with his brother Jeff, Matt has been both a singles and doubles star during his time with WWF/WWE, TNA/Impact, ROH, and more.

Debuting with his brother as a jobber tag team in the mid 90's, the Hardy Boyz hit it big later that decade in the tag division alongside Edge and Christian and the Dudley Boyz. The three teams were involved in multiple three-way gimmick matches for the Tag Team Titles and originated the TLC match.

The brothers feuded with each other off, reconciled, and were split again after the bradn extension. Both would win singles titles - Matt captured the US and ECW titles as a singles competitor.

Matt has left WWE on two occasions, on between his WWE stints, has been extremely popular on the independent circuit. However, Matt reached arguably the peak of his popularity during his second run with TNA/Impact, in which he evolved into "Broken" Matt Hardy.

Parts of the "Broken" persona can still be seen in Hardy since his WWE return at WrestleMania 33 (where the Hardys won the tag titles in a ladder match), but legal issues to prevented the character's full return.

However, in December 2017, Matt Hardy became Woken, stating that his soul has been wandering through space and time for millenia, and has vowed to delete his opponents.
