DAC Midge-HSPV

The first automobile DAC ever manufactured. This microcar was on the larger end of the scale, weighing about 1600 pounds with cargo. However, the powerful electric motor propels it to over 60 miles per hour (95 kilometres per hour), flying above and beyond its competitors; the stunning acceleration and economy were main selling points for many city folk. It was discontinued in 1963 due to a dwindling market, selling 115,376 units during its lifetime. This example was modified with a quicker motor and put into police duty.
