Era - 1990s / 2000s - ECW / WWF

The Innovator of Violence was the heart and soul of ECW. Not one to seek after belts, Dreamer instead took on opponents such as Raven and the Sandman in intense feuds, and teamed with both of them at times. During the feud with Raven, one of the highlights of the rivalry was a cage match in which Dreamer smashed a chair over Raven's head, a move dubbed the "chairshot heard 'round the world."

Dreamer stayed with ECW until the very end, and transfered over to the WWF, mostly competing in hardcore matches until the formation of the WWE-ECW brand, and the preceeding One Night Stand PPV.
