COMPACT Escape Pod MK 1 [Vanilla]

This is an escape pod I designed with size in mind. I wanted it to be as small and compact as possible sp that it does not provide too much of a challenge in future ship designs.

Yes, I do intend to come out with a whole line of craft that has support for these escape pods.

Now for the story:

"After space piracy became an actual thing, The Technocracy realized that it required small vessels held within the ships as to recover as many personelle as possible. After years of debate of whether it would be worth it in the vastness of space, it was finally decided to give the escape pod a test run; to see how many lives it would save."

Warning:
When landing at an asteroid, one must be careful on the approach as to not crash and die horrifically. Might I suggest a spin maneuver to slow down.

Request:
I am unable to figure out how to mod it in such a way so that it can be selected as a spawn ship for survival. Has anyone ad experience with this? I have been unable to find an answer.
