Northeast Landscapes Map Theme

Description
Northeast Landscapes Map Theme

Features handmade textures for cliff, water, fertile soil, ruined, oil, ore, pavement and gravel.

Created from scratch using 4k Textures and 2k normals.

  • All textures replaced, including the moon.
  • Cliffs resemble typical rock outcroppings found in granite type Northeastern Mountain Ranges.
  • Pavement replaced to include faint line segmentation found on normal sidewalks in cities.
  • Asphalt darkened and pebbles added
  • Sand is grey lwith more rocks/pebbles and some wavey textures typical of rivers in the Northeast.
  • Oil, Ore, and Fertile are all variations of green so the map doesnt look weird.
  • Oil texture is craggled when zoomed in.
  • Ore texture is like soil covered granite, just discolored a bit
  • Fertile is green shade lighter than forest.
  • Water is clear northern blue/green, non polluted, foaming and has wave splash.
  • Sky is clear blue with dramatic sunsets.
  • Sun tint and blaze adjusted for more realistic color.
  • Night sky is bright enough to see, similar to full moon night.
  • Moon is actual snapshot from Nasa Apollo mission.

Appearance
Looks best with Custom Made Northeast Landscapes LUT.
Northeast Landscapes LUT cleans up the sky, darkens the greens, and makes the cliff colors pop.

If I had to say its was modeled after a real place then it would be the Mid Hudson area of New York, but it works for the Connecticut River valley as well. Northeasterners would feel home on this map.
