Wanderland "Hoarder" Achievement Guide
By cheekiyaya
Wanderland is an easy-going Hidden Object Scene (HOS) game with a storyline and quests along the way to spice up your gaming journey.

Hitting 100% achievement is a challenge - but not an impossible task here!
Some games in Steam, well, you have limited skills, hence you can't get that achievement. Good news for you - this doesn't happen in Wanderland! You might even earn some bragging rights if you can go through this without the full package of DLCs.

In this guide I will explain each achievement and also tips and tricks to achieve it. Hopefully it helps!

Introduction
There is a total of 81 Steam Achievements for Wanderland.

Each and every category is divided into:
  • Newbie Stage
  • Advance Stage
  • Master Stage
Newbie stage requires only 1 silver star.
Advance stage requires 3 silver stars.
Master stage requires 5 silver stars.

As you can see, to get 100% Steam achievements, you basically need to get only 5 Silver for every single category. Do not be confused with the in-game achievements!
Quest Solver

Number of completed quests
There is no quick way to hasten this achievement, you will need to play through the entire game and play all the quests.

Fact Or Myth?
I tried using Potion of Silver Luck and combo-ing it with Lord of Time Potion - managed to clear almost 10 quests in a row! Is this sheer luck or it indeed increases possibility? Not enough test subjects to verify this statement.
Explorer / Owl Sight

Number of times playing the HOS / in Night Mode (Owl Sight)
This is how much time you spend in playing the game. It will definitely take time to build till Master Explorer / Owl Sight. It is not a difficult achievement.

Best way to achieve this is through:
  • Earning back energy during every play of HOS
  • Stock piling your energy

I am required by a quest to play in a certain mode. How can I achieve that?
If you didn't know, all modes are NOT random, they follow a pattern from one to another. If you do not wish to play the scene in that mode, you can pay 3 rubies to skip scene to next one.

Can I change scene mode? Is it worth it?
I have updated this question since many asked. Yes you can change and it costs 3 rubies.
And is it worth it? NO. This is because you can only change to the next mode, and rubies are precious.

For more information about how to earn back during every play and how to stock pile your energy, please refer to my guide on Playing Wanderland On A Budget.

Chosen By Spirits

Number of coins/gold harvested from Golden Idol
Many would say it is impossible without spending any money, but I managed to get Master level before getting any DLCs or buying any in-store credits. All my saved up rubies from levelling up were literally used to up the level of Golden Idol. It was painful yes, but that is the only source of ruby income. When you reach level 16 and unlock tournament, try to win first 3 place. First place will award you with 50 rubies, this is how you fund your Golden Idol. It is not impossible to win, please run through my Tournament Guide or Useful Tips and Playing Strategies #11.

In summary:
  • Save rubies for Golden Idol
  • Win top 20 for tournaments

Once you have achieved Master for Chosen By Spirits, I do not think there is any reason to continue funding this idol anymore. There are other more effective ways to get coins. Also refer to my other guide for more information.
Mana Drinker

Number of energy harvested from Magic Well
If you read through my guide on Useful Tips and Playing Strategies, you will notice that this achievement is not a problem, since Magic Well is the main source of how I can play this game without waiting anymore.

In summary, you can earn coins from many ways:
  • Harvest coins from Golden Idol to fund your Magic Well
  • Win tournaments (If you can't hit top 3, try to get at least top 60 @ Iron Chest Of Challenger)
  • Unlock bazaar @ level 36 - follow through my Bazaar Guide.
  • Unlock Altar @ Level 26 - read my Altar Guide
Chosen Warrior

Number of weapons harvested from Hammerer
For those who didn't unlock this yet (at level 43), Hammerer is a place whereby you can pay coins in exchange to craft random weapons.

Initial Cost: 1,500 coins
Incremental Cost During Upgrade: 1,000

There is a 12-hour waiting time before the weapons are ready. If you want it fast, you will need to pay 1 ruby per weapon. As your Hammerer level increases, the number of weapons crafted per time will increase, the coins required to craft weapons will increase and the required amount of rubies will increase as well.

Do take note, spending rubies here is NOT necessary. There is no fast track to earn this achievement, unless you have rubies.

Updated Note: Hammerer seems to be sucking up a lot of coins to craft (as you progress)! If you want to get full achievement for Chosen Warrior, you need to dedicate time earning coins to fund your well and to fund the Hammerer. It is officially the hardest achievement to get 5 Silver Stars.
Traveller

Number of items harvested from Shelter
You unlock Shelter at level 22. Shelter is a place whereby you can get increasing random items every 15 hours.

Similar concept to Hammerer, the difference is:
  • You harvest random items every 15 hour
  • You cannot fast track with paying rubies

As your Shelter level increases, the number of items harvested will increase, and you will need to spend coins to upgrade the shelter. It is not very expensive, I do not think it is a problem to achieve till Master level. All you require is patience and time.
Sea Dog

Number of successful full-loading of ships
This is slightly harder to get full Steam achievements because as you progress in your ship ranking, the more resources they required. However, this is not impossible at all.

To know more about sending ships, please refer to my Send Ship Guide.

You will need to combine a few strategies to make it work. While you are playing "Finding Items" tournament, try to play in HOS that gives shipping items, this tip is also mentioned in my Tournament Guide.

Prepare your resources in advance, put those lacking resources under "Gift and Wish List". It will be slow to achieve due to high resource requirement.

You need to find an efficient way to send your ships while achieving other objectives, if possible. One of the few things you can consider is doing a combo with Archivist @ Gold Chest. Refer to Archivist Guide.

You can also get shipping items by playing Tavern (may need multiple times if you are unlucky).

In Summary:
  • Gather up resources early and efficiently - through friends and through tournaments.
  • Combo with other activities to gather and earn items/coins more efficiently.
All-Seeing

Number of times using Divine Sight while exploring HOS
It is not difficult to get Newbie All-Seeing, or maybe even Advanced All-Seeing if you play long enough, but to get Master All-Seeing, you need time and maybe even real money.

Firstly, I rarely use Divine Sight because after playing for a long time, you generally know where things are. So it is basically using it just to get your Steam achievement. To me, this is probably the hardest achievement to hit "Master".

At this point of time when I am writing this guide - I only have 3 silver stars. To hit 4 stars, I need to use another 100 times. Can you imagine how many Divine Sights I would require to hit 5 silver stars (Master All-Seeing)? *shakes head*

Here are the ways for you to get Divine Sight:
  • Buy single unit from shop - it costs coins, a lot! 9,999 coins could have been used in magic wells instead. Not recommended.
  • Buy Explorer Pack DLC - you will get 25 divine sight in this DLC, and also a bunch of other items. You can get it at a really good price during sale.
  • Buy Explorer Chest in shop - it costs 59 rubies. Not recommended unless you really have a lot of rubies.
  • Win Tournaments - this is the way to get Divine Sight for free. You can get up to at least 10 divine sights (if not mistaken) if you win first place.
  • Finish Archivist Quests - this is also another way to get Divine Sight for free. Gold chest would give you the most Divine Sight, compared to the easier quests of course. Take in consideration the resources that you have to use to finish the quests. You might have other priorities.
  • Harvest from Shelter - if you are lucky!

In my personal opinion, this should be the last few Master achievements to reach. It is just too time/money/resource consuming in general.
Hand of God

Number of times using Hand of God while exploring HOS
This is relatively easier to achieve Master as compared to All-Seeing. Relatively easier - but still not easy. They require lesser uses to achieve a star (i.e. 80 uses to reach from 4 stars to 5 stars), but at the same time, it is harder to get Hand of God compared to Divine Sight.

So here are the ways to get Hand of God:
  • Buy single unit from shop - it costs rubies! 9 rubies per unit. That is so expensive. Not recommended unless you have a lot of rubies.
  • Win Tournaments - most effective way to get Hand of God. Top 3 will give you good amount of this item. I think other tournament ranks would give you some too.
  • Finish Archivist Quests - if you can't win tournaments, do these quests instead. Not much, but still getting some instead of buying them.
  • Harvest from Shelter - again, if you are lucky!

It is not easy to get to the level of Master, so I would suggest you to allocate all other resources to something else and keep this near last.
Shopoholic

Number of items purchased in the shop
This is challenging if you are not getting any DLCs. Still, nothing is impossible! As you know - most are in rubies, some are in coins.

So what is wise spending in my opinion?

Using Coins - the answer is Perfume Spray. I don't think many noticed that it is fairly affordable, compared to earning them from cursed scenes (chances of earning it is also really low). Perfume Spray is useful against gremlins and if you want to hit Master achievement for driving away Gremlins, you need this Perfume Spray.

But each perfume is 1,190 coins and if you have to save up for the well, where can you get more coins without spending actual money?

The solution is -
1. wait till you are level 26, after you unlock Altar. Check on my Altar Guide for tips.
2. wait till you are level 36, after you unlock Bazaar. Refer to the Bazaar Guide for playing strategies.

Alternatively, using coins, you can consider (but not recommended) to purchase these items: Leather Sling (1,690 coins) or Ancient Sword (1,290 coins) to fight Turgs and Skeletons.

Using Rubies - the answer is Potion of Wealth. It is not cheap, costing 19 rubies - but it is super effective to get a lot of coins when you combine this with a selected artifact and by playing Bazaar. At one point, I spent 59 rubies to earn 220,000 coins (spent 220 minutes and roughly 24,000 energy). How to earn? Read the details under Bazaar Guide.

Important Note: Every potion has an option to prolong the effect. I do not think this contributes to "buying an item from shop".

EXTRA NOTE: If you do not directly purchase from the shop, it doesn't contribute to the count here. I.e. Fighting enemy and you are out of sword. Clicking on "Buy and Battle" will NOT increase shop count.

Collector

Number of completed collections
Not difficult to achieve, just a few pointers when it comes to activating collections:-
1. Try to activate only those collections that give coins or really useful items (refer below for my personal suggestions)
2. Try to activate collections that use as little resources as possible
3. If you have limited resources, only activate the collection when you are required to (part of quest or if you need a particular item).

These are my recommended go-for collections:
  • Guild Master Badge - good source of small amount of coins as well as Divine Sight.
  • Writing Fundamentals - good for beginners to rake coins.
  • Vacation Souvenirs (Preferred) - good amount of coins as well as really useful items. My go-to if there are sufficient activators.
  • Secret Charter (Preferred) - Solid amount of coins with the easiest possible activators.
  • Curse Bearer (Preferred) - All enemy collections have Orc Sharman Stone as requirement. This collection is the BEST and most useful because the only other way to get Perfume is from sending ships. This will help in achieving Steam achievement @ Gremlin Bane.
  • Jafar's Dream (Preferred) - I like this collection simply because I do not need to spend rubies on "Potion of Wealth". If you play my Bazaar strategy, you might not even need to spend so many rubies. For further information refer to Bazaar Guide.

How to get activators efficiently?
Most, if not all activators are from defeating enemies. With limited rubies, I think the most efficient way to use those rubies is through opening the 5-ruby enemy chest.

There are 2 chests for you to open up - one costs 5 rubies, the other 9 rubies.

This is what you can potentially get by opening them.

If you don't have that many rubies, add friends and put the activators you need under your gift and wishes.

In summary, you can get activators from:
  • Fighting enemies - the source of all activators.
  • Shop - well, it is not free.
  • Friends - put them in your gift and wishes
  • Shelter - the best place in Wanderland, but you just need to wait freaking 15 hours!
By Might and Magic

Total number of enemies being driven away
Easy achievement, nothing to worry about. It is just a combination of defeating all the enemies - which I will cover in detail at the bottom.
Old Bones

Number of skeletons that you manage to drive away
Easy achievement.

You can get your weapons easily for free from:
  • Exploring HOS - Hunter's Hunt, Crypt, Tribal Tent, Ship Wreck
  • Activating collections
  • Getting from friends through Gift & Wishes
  • Playing Tavern
  • Harvesting from Shelter
  • Sending shipments (not really worth it for fighting skeletons because they are really easy to get from HOS)
  • Harvesting from Hammerer

Spending rubies and coins on the weapons against skeletons will not be necessary at all.

SKELETON ENEMIES

SKELETON ACTIVATOR DROPS

WALKING BONES

SKELETON WARRIOR

CURSED SKELETON

IMPORTANT TIP

These 4 unique activators are very commonly requested or being used in the early stage of your Wanderland journey. If you have excess rubies to open chest, please ensure you defeat the correct enemy to get the specific drop you are finding. If you are not finding anything in specific, it is good to use your rubies on Walking Bones as they drop 2 unique activators.
Swamp Hordes

Number of turgs that you manage to drive away
Easy achievement as well.

For those who didn't know, you can get your weapons without a problem from:

  • Exploring HOS - Swamp, Ship Wreck, Tribal Tent
  • Activating collections
  • Getting from friends through Gift & Wishes
  • Playing Tavern
  • Harvesting from Shelter
  • Sending shipments (not really worth it for fighting Turgs because they are really easy to get from HOS)
  • Harvesting from Hammerer

Again, spending coins and rubies for Turgs will not be necessary.

TURG ENEMIES

TURG ACTIVATOR DROPS

SWAMP TURG

TURG THE BRIGAND

TURG SHAMAN

IMPORTANT TIP

Surprisingly this is the first time knowing that Turg the Brigand has no unique activator of its own. These 3 unique activators from either the Shaman or Swamp Turgs are very common. If you have rubies to open chest, I strongly recommend you to go for it, especially Turg Shaman's Silver Seal.
Ogre Hunter

Number of orgre that you manage to drive away
It will take time to reach Master Ogre Hunter, you need a lot of patience to play the game. What makes it difficult is - base requirement is 2 mice, instead of just 1.

You can get mouse from Library or Ice Cave - one is relatively high energy expenditure, while ice cave needs Tar Torch. If you read my guide that mentions about Ice Cave / Temple / Wind Mill, you will notice I hinted on efficient use of resources / items. Playing these 3 HOS without a quest will waste your resources unnecessarily.

The other two resources: Talisman of Light and Invisible Hat are both not a problem, you can get them easily from friends or from Tavern.

My advise is - save your weapons against ogres for "Drive Enemy Away" tournament. Firstly, because it is not easy to get mice; secondly, you want to at least win something from tournament.
Once again, I cannot emphasize more - to play well in this game, you need to be as efficient as possible in your every move.

Apart from what's mentioned above, you can also get from:
  • Exploring Tribal Tent (to get Talisman of Light)
  • Activating collections
  • Harvesting from Shelter
  • Sending shipments (For mice yes, it is worth it; for the other two weapons, not so worth it)
  • Harvesting from Hammerer

OGRE ENEMIES

OGRE ACTIVATOR DROPS

SAVAGE OGRE

OGRE LEADER

OGRE MAGE

IMPORTANT TIP:

If you are using rubies to open the chest, pay attention to these 4 unique activators, each activator specific to a type of enemy only, except for Savage Ogre (which has 2 unique activators).
Gremlin Bane

Number of gremlins that you manage to drive away
More challenging to get Master achievement compared to fighting Ogres. The weapons required are much harder to get as well, still nothing is impossible :)

Perfume Spray - This is the basic requirement. As mentioned under "Shopoholic" section, I don't think many noticed how affordable the Perfume Spray is. With sufficient coins, you can buy Perfume Spray without a problem. Again, if you face coin shortage, please refer to my Bazaar and Altar Guide when you reach at least level 26.

Camomile Gremlin Perfume - The most efficient way to get this is from sending shipments. I try to get shipments done up when they give this perfume. Alternatively, you can choose to activate "Magic Mirror" collection, but it is totally not worth doing so for 1 perfume.

Violet Gremlin Perfume, Rose Gremlin Perfume - You can get these from shipments too, but most importantly, you can get them from activating the "Curse Bearer" collection. Totally worth it, you get 5 each. If you read the section on "Collector", I have recommended saving up activators for this Curse Bearer collection.

Apart from the methods listed above, you can also get from:

  • Exploring cursed HOS - if not mistaken, any curse will be fine.
  • List it under Gift and Wishes
  • Harvesting from Shelter
  • Play Tavern
  • Harvest from Hammerer

GREMLIN ENEMIES

GREMLIN ACTIVATOR DROPS

BOSH GREMLIN

MIRROR GREMLIN

SMOKY GREMLIN

IMPORTANT TIP
In terms of activators, nothing impressive from the Gremlin. They will occassional drop Divine Sight, Light Orb and Time Frost to assist in your HOS. The more important drops from Gremlin are the seashells, which you will unlock after level 34, Mermaid Stone.

Also, for Mirror Gremlin, you might want to use rubies to open up the chests. The drop for collection item "False Mirror" is very low and only specific to Mirror Gremlin. This collection item is very important to activate the collection for Gremlin, in order to obtain 10 bottles of perfume.
Tutankahmun Curse

Number of mummies that you manage to drive away
This was surprising easier for me, compared to Gremlin or Ogre. Yes, it is true - they require a lot of weapons/items, and all in multiple units.

Where can you get these weapons? YES! Bazaar. Now since the beginning till now, I have been mentioning about harvesting lots of coins from Bazaar. So if you follow through my strategies, I don't think it is a problem for you to get Master in Tutankhamun Curse. For those who have no idea what I am rambling about, please refer to Bazaar Guide.

It will still take time to get Master achievement for this, but you will eventually reach there.

As usual, these are the other avenues to get your weapons:
  • List it under Gift and Wishes
  • Harvesting from Shelter
  • Harvesting from Hammerer
  • Activate Collection
  • Playing Tavern (I am not sure about this, I have yet to reach that level for Tavern)

MUMMY ENEMIES

MUMMY ACTIVATOR DROPS

PHARAOH'S SLAVE

MUMMY KING

PRIEST OF ATON

IMPORTANT TIP

These are the unique activators for each and every mummy. It is generally harder to defeat mummy if you don't have enough resources. I would suggest you to use your rubies to open the mummy chest everytime simply because you won't be fighting them so often.
Purifier Of Lands

Number of times you banish all types of curses
Cumulative from all different curses, should not be a problem if you can achieve Steam achievements for the other curses.

Please refer to the guide on curses at the bottom.
Smoke Dissolver / Mirror Breaker / Linguist

Number of times you banish Smoke / Fog Curse / Mirror Curse / Abracadabra Curse

In my experience, among all 3 curses - Mirror shards (for creating mirror curse) is the hardest to get, so you will see a lot of friends requesting under gift and wishes. BUT, this is very subjective, for some it could be another curse.

Again, because it is not the easiest to get objects to create curses, use your curse opportunity efficiently - you are required to play cursed scenes in Archivist's quests or in your regular quest. For myself, I would compile my regular quests that require curses, then I will one-shot curse the entire map. This helps to improve "accuracy of cursing scenes".

How can I curse a particular scene with the exact curse?
Now this may sound obvious to some, but this guide is for those who didn't know.

The truth is - there is NO WAY you can choose which HOS to curse in whichever curse you want.

HOWEVER, you can "bend" it to your will, kinda, in a way.

Now, every HOS can only be cursed once, until it has been played out or banished. In other words, once cursed, it will not be removed.

So this is what I will do :-

For example, I need Pier to be in Mirror Curse, but I only have 1 Mirror Shard (for Mirror Curse). However, I have 2 Reeky Alder Embers (For Fog Curse). At this stage, I have unlocked 7 scenes - Hunter's Hunt, Pier, Library, Crypt, Swamp, Ship Wreck, Windmill. Well, if you use mirror shard straight away, there is a risk that you will not get Pier cursed in Mirror Curse.

What I would do is that I would use Reeky Alder Ember first and curse the land. If I am lucky, that curse may not hit Pier. If that is the case - I am narrowing down from 7 scenes to now 4 scenes left to be cursed. Do your maths - 3 out of 4 scenes will be Mirror Curse, that is 75% chance, as compared to 3 out of 7 HOS, which is 43% chance of getting Pier cursed properly (and risk not having Mirror Shards anytime soon).

Now, if unfortunately Pier is being hit by Fog Curse, you will need to play the scene first and clear the curse. After clearing, your probability of getting Mirror Curse for Pier is still relatively high at 3 out of 5 scenes, which is 60% chance to get it cursed properly.

Well, if it fails, oops, I guess it is not your day then! At least you contributed to the count for curse achievements:) This is when your friends come to the rescue by giving you Mirror Shards.

Alternatively, if you are NOT a risk taker at all, you can use all 2 units of Reeky Alder Ember and curse the land. Which means, 6 out of 7 scenes will be cursed. Clear 2 scenes of Fog Curse, and then only use Mirror Shard. This way, it is 100% you will get Mirror Curse for Pier.

That being said, this is why I recommend collecting all curse quests together first before cursing the HOS. This way, you don't spend your curses unnecessarily. Some HOS like Ice Cave, Wind Mill, Temple, Tribal Tent, etc (that I do not use often), I do not bother clearing the curses unless required by other quests. Leave it, it is a natural "block" in case you need to curse another scene anytime soon.

How can you get curses / objects to conjure curse?
  • Hunter's Hut in night mode / timed night mode
  • Fighting Gremlins.
  • Harvest from Shelter
  • List it in gift and wishes and get your friends to help you out

How to get items to banish curse?
  • Fighting Turg Sharman, Cursed Skeleton, Ogre Mage.
  • Playing Tavern
  • Harvest from Shelter
  • All cursed HOS

If I curse the scene during Night Timed Mode, will I be searching in the dark?

The answer is NO. You will always have with lights on :)

I know how to get Wooden Mask, but how to FARM it?

Wooden Mask can be obtained by cursing Shipwreck and Crypt. Even so, it is hard to get when you can't curse a particular scene. Play this stategy in order to maximize your Wooden Mask drops! Thanks to ryalseth for providing valuable additional information!

1. Curse up all scenes in Wanderland - any curse will be fine because you just want to narrow down the curse location. Avoid Abracadabra Curse if possible.

2. Clear up 1 random scene/location, Crypt and Shipwreck.

3. Use Mix of Letters and curse up these 3 scenes. Voila! You can now have better chances of getting Wooden Mask. Repeat this action until you run of our curses, or you think it is enough.

Alternatively, if you have run out of Abracadabra Curse, use Fog Curse instead, you can still get Wooden Mask in Shipwreck.

I am not a beginner anymore. Energy requirement for every scene is high. It is even more energy consuming to play curses. Any method to solve this?

Yes, in fact there is. BUT it will only work RIGHT AFTER you have unlocked Watch Tower at Level 55. To play Watch Tower, the energy requirement is really little compared to the other HOS because they give only useless collection items.

When I am writing this now, I still have to complete a total of 280 curses to achieve across all 3 curse achievements. So what am I going to do about it?

I am going to curse up every HOS but play repeatedly only these 3 scenes:-
CRYPT (only for Abracadabra Curse to harvest Wooden Mask)
SHIPWRECK (harvest Wooden Mask)
WATCH TOWER (cheapest + source of Tavern Cards)
HUNTER'S HUNT (except Abracadabra Curse, next cheapest option)

Average energy spend per scene is about 70. To get coins to fund your well, sell the masks at Altar for 1,225 coins each. Very profitable!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Requesting From Friend

I noticed there are some players requesting for items that can curse up to 5 scenes. The sad thing is - you are highly likely not going to get it because they require ruby purchase.

My advise is - try to go for the ones cursing up to 3 SCENES, and then you use my method above to get the particular scene cursed.

Master Of Shots

Number of potions used
It will be a bit challenging to get Master Master of Shots, if you are not a frequent player of this game. To achieve Advance Master of Shots, you will require 30 potions in total. Master level would be more.

I have a bunch of Time Keeper/Master/Lord potions inside my inventarium, like a total of 39 of it, but I really cannot recall how I received them. I think I must have received them from winning tournaments or from doing Archivist's quests.

However, do not give up hope! If you follow through my Bazaar guide, you will be using Potions and this will increase your Potion count as well. All you need is time!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Prolonging potion effect doesn't contribute to increase in Potion shots.
Hungry One

Number of energizers used
It will take time to reach Master of Hungry One, but you do not need to buy energizers with coins or rubies. You need a total of 70 energizers to reach from 4 star to 5 star.

These are the ways you can earn energizers:
  • Winning tournaments (if you win top 3 ranks, you get expensive energizers that would be used in Gold Chest @ Archivist Quest)
  • Activating collections
  • Harvest from Shelter
  • Completing Archivist quests
The easiest available energizer is "Gulp of Fresh Water". Keep all your energizers and avoid using them until you are required in quests. If you are accepting Silver and Gold Chest quests in Archivist, you might be required to use more expensive energizers. As mentioned above, you can get those energizers by winning top 3 of the tournaments.

Additional Tip: I am not sure if this is a glitch, or that is on purpose - sacrificing an energizer in altar will contribute as 1 consumption in this Steam achievement - Your "Hungry One" achievement will increase by 1. However, be careful not to sacrifice when you are reaching level up for the achievement, your game will crash.
Generous

Number of gifts given to friends
Sharing is caring! This is how you get the game going - give more, get more! You'd be surprise that people actually help you back. For some I know, they only help when they are required to in quests; for some others, they help just because they are kind or they are repaying the favour! :)

If you are reading this as a newbie, please start by adding friends!

Make yourself known to the community by posting your ID here:
Post Your ID @ Wanderland Discussion Post

Feel free to add me anytime, my ID is 31516.

Run through the latest IDs posted and add those friends. This is unlike Steam friends whereby you need to filter before adding - you just add! The more friends you have, the more likely you are to get your resources.

It is an easy achievement. You earn by giving. In terms of putting up your wish list, be careful when you put hard-to-get items. Your friends may not have them. If no one is giving you the item after 1-2 days, I advise you to change it away. After playing for a while, you will understand what is easy to get, what is not. Sometimes, I use gift and wishes to get items to sacrifice at Altar as well. You can refer to the other parts of this guide on that matter.
Olympic Competitor

Number of participation in tournaments
Easy achievement as well, nothing too much to elaborate on this. You just have to spend time joining the tournaments after reaching level 16.

For more information on tournaments, please refer to my Tournament Guide.
Treasure Seeker

Number of chests completed from the archivist

To get this achievement, it is not extremely difficult. I chose to work on the easiest chest - iron chest. Only 3 tasks (and if you are lucky, you might even avoid having to send ships) per chest. To me it is always about being efficient in using resources, so I usually do Archivist quests during "Send Ship" Tournament.

For more information, you can refer to Archivist Guide.

Something to note that primarily would affect shopaholic, but also others: I randomly found a "powerful artifact" that made for 1 hour (though the description said "1 day") the 1st copy of all ruby items in the store cost 1 ruby. I took this opportunity to grab a few items I have difficulty getting from HOS or battle rewards while also getting myself some nice progress on shopaholic on the cheap. In fact, after getting the ruby rewards from shopaholic, my net cost was almost nil.
