put the below addon in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\silencedweaponsgunfix.vpk"
you can also try to rebuild audio cache... in console snd_rebuildaudiocache

tell me which weapon and i will check the audio file and if i remember correctly i think the echo is in the game itself, like on death toll i noticed that echo.

i love it it's just that echo at the end of firing is annoying can you get rid of it please.

Wow am surprised how much I like the sounds my favorite is the shotguns and snipers and the Ak47.

you should install L4D2 Authorizing tools to get the vpk.exe file to extract and create vpk files

and drop my silenced vpk file on the vpk.exe or any other mods to extract and see the file folder structure

edit the files as you like and recreate the vpk file by dragging the folder on the vpk.exe

put your own created vpk file in addons folder

if no vpk.exe anymore then use this tool https://nemstools.github.io/pages/GCFScape-Download.html
