HZPL Xiuhcoatl Pilot 1

Due to a civil war in Mexico in the mid 2130s in which other nations would not involve themselves, the country was split in two. The eastern coast was made into it's own nation. This new nation, called New Technoca, created their own racing team for the 2149 season of the AGL.

With it's thriving tourist economy due to the ancient Aztec and Maya ruins, they themed their liveries around Gold, using the Aztec Sun Stone as their iconography. They named their team after the Aztec God of War, Huitzilopochtli. it often is shortened to HZPL due to it's difficult pronunciation. The craft is named Xiuhcoatl, the weapon of choice for the god.

Managers of the team joked about building a city out of the gold medals and trophies they would win.
